Haste Volleyball is a volleyball club in the southern region of New Zealand.

The backstory

Haste History

Some 8 years ago, Tomas Adams returned from university in Wellington back to home in Invercargill. After a bit of time, he decided to get back into the sport he loved in his highschool years, and went along to the wednesday night social volleyball league. Not having a team at the time, he was taken in by a team aptly named "Misfits". Over the following years, Tomas recruited friends and players into the team, eventually settling on the name "Haste".The team has progressed from a social grade to now taking out local southern tournaments at a system of play much higher than what has been normal for southland. Developing players, both adult and high school age, with ties to Verdon College, Central Southland College, Southland Boys High and James Hargest College. On the 20th of March 2025, Haste became a fully incorporated society, known as Haste Volleyball Club Inc. The club is pushing into the future to develop and play a high level of volleyball, and foster a thriving club community.
